Everyday children are removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Often they are placed into a new home with little to nothing of their own. We created ECHO to help meet tangible needs, restore dignity, provide comfort and support to the children and families opening their homes.
I used to have to spend my first day or two with a new placement running around to get clothing, shoes and sometimes even age appropriate toys. Since ECHO has opened I have enjoyed the luxury of spending those first few days at home giving the children a chance to get accustomed to my household.
Meeting the needs of the fatherless can seem like an enormously daunting task..... but working hand and hand with ECHO has enabled the people at church to serve their community in a way that pleases God.
ECHO is so much more than a donation and distribution center, for our Foster/Adoptive Community. The volunteer staff show how much they care beyond the material needs of the families they serve. I, for one, have received encouraging support and prayer during visits. For this I am truly thankful!
I am truly appreciative of everything you all do but what gets me even more excited is the thought of how many, children and adults, come in contact with Echo who don't know Jesus, and they get to experience his love through this amazing group of people! I'll leave you with a scripture, "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up" Galatians 6:9. Thank you Echo, from the bottom of my heart! I pray you will continue to be blessed in all you do!
This ministry means so much to me because I have experienced a child growing 5 sizes in the two years I had her. I didnt know how much I would need ECHO, but God did.
